Hello, Hiivians!

You are in for a treat. 'Why?' you may ask, well we have updated the platform with brand new features. E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G! These new features offer a better user experience for the Hiive Community as you will be able to showcase your work in the best possible way.

Let's get stuck in with the brand new features, shall we?

Instagram and IMBD

If you didn't guess from the title, we have managed to bring you not one but two new social platforms that you can add to your profile. As soon as a fellow Hiivian interacts with your profile, they will be able to view your Instagram account and see the fantastic creative work you have produced or if you want to check out your cheeky selfies. In regards to IMDB, it is a fantastic way to demonstrate your production credits and what TV shows, shorts of feature films you have worked on.

To add Instagram to your account, you need to go your profile, click edit, go to social accounts and scroll down until you reach the Instagram icon.

Then all you need to do is paste your URL and click save. The Instagram icon will appear with the other social icons on your platform. Bob's your uncle. Instagram has successfully linked to your Hiive profile. It's as easy as that!

This new update allows you to have all your social accounts in one place.

Multiple Swarm Owners

The next update we have introduced is the ability to have more than one swarm admin, which is ideal as everyone who is involved in setting up the swarm can now amend and edit the swarm, as they please.

Activity Page

I'm sure you have seen it by now, but if you haven't seen it already, our activity stream is ALIVE! Articles, events and opportunities can now be pinned and shared by the Hiive Team direct to your activity stream.

This feature means that you can remain up-to-date with the latest ongoings, and the animated GIFs will mean you never miss a thing again!.

So that is that! Bask in the new features and showcase your work in various ways.

And while we're on the subject, tell us what you think and what new features you would like us to add next, in the comments below.
