It’s the 20th annual RTS Student Television Awards in June, and the nominations are in! These awards are a celebration of student-made television in the UK, and there’s a lot to of talent to celebrate.

The Student Television Awards encompasses undergraduates and postgraduates, with the awards split into five categories:
Comedy & Entertainment
Open – A new category introduced this year for films less than three minutes in length.

Students are also being awarded separately for achievements in Camerawork, Editing and Sound.

Top-notch stand-up comedian, Romesh Ranganathan will be hosting the event at the BFI, Southbank on Friday 5 June between 1pm-5pm. Tickets are still available for the awards show, so grab one while you can! They’re free, after all!

Don’t panic if you don’t make it to the ceremony, because the nominated films and highlights will be shown on Sky.
