What is A Private Swarm?

If you have arrived here because you have requested to become a member of a swarm, you'll need to wait for the owner of that swarm to accept your request.

You can mark new and existing swarms as private. Private swarms will display a padlock symbol.

The swarm owner and the members within it will be the only people who have permission to see the content within a private swarm.

Non-members are unable to follow or add themselves as a member to a private swarm.

Only the swarm owner can add members to a private swarm.

All other public swarm functionality will replicate private ones.

This includes the notifications that members receive when an action has taken place (i.e comment in discussion, new member has been added).

Private swarms will still be displayed in searches.
