More

In 2006 whilst Anna was working as a Focus Puller she was selected by 'Women in Film and Television' to be mentored in Cinematography by DOP Henry Braham BSC during the production of feature film 'The Golden Compass'.

The placement lasted a year, in which time Henry trained her in the Cinematographer's role during pre-production, production and post-production of this large budget feature film as well as helping her experiment with her own cinematography.

In 2007 Anna gained her first credit as Director of Photography on the feature length documentary 'Welcome Aboard Toxic Airlines' which had a Cinematic Release in the UK and sparked the call for a public enquiry into the areo-toxic issue.

In 2008 Anna worked as the Camera Operator on feature film '31 North 62 East' with DOP Sue Gibson BSC who, at the time, was the President of the British Society of Cinematographers.

In 2009 Anna worked as the Director of Photography on drama feature film 'Ambleton Delight' which premiered at The Ritz Cinema in Worthing and won three awards including 'Best Feature Film' at The British Independent Film Festival and ‘Best UK Feature' at The End of the Pier International Film Festival and Anna won ‘Best Director of Photography’.

Anna is keen to work on TV drama series and can bring skills learnt from both big budget feature films and low budget, short schedule productions. She is happy to work as the head of a large camera, grip and lighting team but can also work in a smaller crew and does a lot of hand-held camera operating for other DOP’s.
