Dean is actor and theatre-maker from the South-West currently training at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) with the Theatre Lab MA. He is experienced in devising, improvisation, physical theatre, clowning and physical comedy.

Dean studied Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway and has received training in clowning from Aitor Basauri of Spymonkey and training in improvisation from Lee Simpson of Improbable.

Recent roles include Lee in the Northcott Theatre's outdoor touring production of Jerusalem with The Common Players and Substance and Shadow's Skin Deep at The Bike Shed Theatre. Dean also creates solo work, his acclaimed silent one man show 'Blank' debuted at the Exeter Ignite festival and was invited for a 6 night run as part of the 'Here come the Boys' one man show festival. He has written, directed and facilitated theatre workshops for performers aged 8 to 80.
