Originally from Co. Tipperary, Ireland James has been fascinated with dance and movement on screen and stage since he was young child.  He now is based in London working as a choreographer and movement director.

His work has been featured on MTV, Universal Music, VICE, Promo News, Paper Mag, 405 and David Reviews amongst others.

His style of choreography is expressive and narratively driven with a versatile approach that lends itself to both filming and live performance. James’ diverse background has enabled a flexibility of style that allows him to tailor his work to client and director’s brief.

An unique attribute that James brings to his work is his ability to quickly connect with and help realise the creative vision of various directors and artists. This proves invaluable in terms of working collaboratively and producing the best final results.

Initially trained at CSN Dance led by Alan Foley, he then received a full scholarship to attend Bird College of Dance, Music and Theatre Performance in London. He then went on to attain BA (1st class honours) in Professional Practice (Arts) from Middlesex University with a focus on the choreographic process.
