Profile

More

As an award winning student director, I've now graduated from the Cambridge School of Art with a First Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Production. My main ambition is to eventually work professionaly as a writer/director in film and television drama, but I am very aware that I have a long way to go. I'm only just starting out so I am looking for an entry level postion where I can watch and learn as much as possible from the industry.

My previouse industry experiance is mainly in independant short films and web-serries, working as a 3rd assistant director, head runner, runner and general assitant. From these projects I learnt a great deal about the passion of filmmaking, and how filmmakers do not allow thier voices to become hindered by thier budgets. It taught me a great deal about thinking creativly but also feasibly.

By aplying this to my own work I was able win my awards. One was from the Wimbledon International Film Festival for a film that I directed on a budget of £250, where we even put tights over the lens of our DSLR to create a more filmic grain. I learnt that production value is only one level to the work, it's the characters and story that truly connect your audiance to your work.

As I move forward I'm constantly trying to learn and create, gaining both practical skills as well as developing my creativity. I am hard working, imaginative and will make the most of any oppertunity I am presented with.
