I'm a theatre director. I trained on the Theatre Directing MFA at Birkbeck, and was Resident Assistant Director for Sheffield Theatres in 2015. I was the Hospital Club's Emerging Creative for 2016/2017.

At the moment I'm working as the Associate Director of SlungLow's 'Flood', an epic four part theatre and television project in co-production with Hull City of Culture 2017 and the BBC.

I've recently been working as a Performance Practitioner on another BBC theatre project - Taxi Tales with Tamasha Theatre.

Last year I received Arts Council funding to direct a Research and Development project for a piece of new writing by Mufaro Makubika - Here Lie The Remains of MERCY. This resulted in a work-in-progress performance at Theatre Delicatessen in October 2016. The show follows a young woman on a quest to find a beautiful pink dress to bury her dead daughter in. The development of the piece is still ongoing and I'd love to find a venue or theatre company to be a producing partner for it.

I love new writing, loads of plays from the noughties, lots of plays from the 20th Century, and 'classics' too. I'm also really interested in developing new work collaboratively, and would love to gain more experience in this.

If you'd like to make work with me, get in touch somehow, I'm very nice.
