Andrew began his career working in development on the BBC medical drama Holby City after graduating with a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Manchester. His love of working with writers led him to assist BBC Writersroom on the TV Drama Festival, and then onto joining the development team at Coronation Street. In 2015, he was awarded the Mike Frankovich Columbia TriStar scholarship to study for a Master's degree in Producing for Film & Television at the National Film and Television School.

Over the past three years Andrew has produced several award winning short films which have collectively been shown at over 160 film festivals. His most recent films Faithful and In the Grass were written and directed by BAFTA New Talent winner Rory Alexander Stewart. Faithful was nominated for Best Short Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. In the Grass received its world premiere at the Warsaw Film Festival. Andrew is currently in post-production on Sie, a poetic journey about discovering your life has suddenly passed which stars Julia Malik in the lead role, and a short animation called Inhospitable; about a young boy discovering his estranged father has passed.

He is fascinated in how technological advances affect storytelling, particularly virtual reality and augmented reality. He was recently nominated for two Unity awards for the virtual reality game Into the Black, the only UK student game to be nominated, that was praised by VR Focus as “The future is bright and enthusiastic about game creation and VR, based on Into The Black.”

He is developing a slate of projects for film, television and games, including a feature length adaptation of In the Grass.
