Profile

More

I am a writer and creative producer with experience of artistic collaboration through a variety of projects and events.

I have worked at Live Theatre, Theatre Sans Frontieres, ARC and Northern Stage, and as a creative producer with Precious Cargo, Josh Coates, Matt Miller, NORTH 16 and Leo Burtin. In my individual practice I'm interested in how writers can work in different ways to create work that is relevant and representative of today’s world.

I was previously a member of Live Theatre's Playwriting Group and undertook a professional development scheme in 2015, mentored by playwright Ali Taylor.

Writing Experience:

2017 - Writer & Producer on national tour of Letters to Myself (www.letterstomyself.org.uk)

2016 - Writer in Residence at Beamish Museum, County Durham, funded by the Leverhulme Trust.

2016 - Night Trade - commissioned as part of a night of dark new writing, The Rooms, at Alphabetti which won North East Theatre Guide's Best New Writing 2016

2015 - Rehearsed reading of "Yes Chef!" exploring the world of a professional kitchen and looking at what it’s like to be a woman working in an aggressive, male dominated work place.
